LOS ANGELES, CA

Another art museum visit to a museum I was lucky enough to visit more than once. Los Angeles County Museum of Art holds some of the most amazing artworks from periods like abstract expressionism as well as, my personal favourite, pop art. Many of the art works below I've gotten to study in class so seeing them in person was very interesting and cool.

Felix Gonzalez-Torres "Untitled (North)" (1993)
15-watt light bulbs, porcelain light sockets, extension cords, 12 parts
Daniel Joseph Martinez "The House America Built" (1974), 156 x 132 x 168 in
Plywood, dimensional lumber, paint, SmartSide

Andy Warhol "Campbell's Soup Can" (1964), 36 x 24 in
Oil on canvas

Robert Motherwell "Elegy to the Spanish Republic 100" (1963-1975), 84 x 240 in
